Frontline Van Driver – Make a real difference in women’s lives

At 4 Voices, we walk alongside women experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, and social isolation, helping them reconnect to safety, dignity, and hope through genuine conversation and community support. Our frontline services operate from solar-powered connection hub vans equipped with laptops, WiFi, technology, music, and coffee/tea facilities, creating welcoming spaces for women across Australia.

As a Frontline Van Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring these mobile hubs of care and connection reach the women who need them most. Your safe, reliable driving helps deliver moments of comfort, community, and practical support to women rebuilding their lives.

What we offer you:

• A meaningful volunteer role where your driving directly supports women in vulnerable circumstances.
• Clear guidance, support and connection with a compassionate volunteer team.
• A flexible commitment: 4 hours per week or fortnight (or more if you choose).
• Training in 4 Voices procedures, safety, and trauma-informed practice.

What you’ll do:

• Pick up the van from its designated base and drive safely to scheduled frontline locations.
• Set up and pack down basic equipment including awnings and chairs.
• Support the frontline team during shifts while respecting volunteer support roles.
• Return the van clean, refuelled (if required), and secure after each shift.
• Report any vehicle issues to the Van Caretaker or Frontline Leader.
• Follow all road safety, insurance and organisational guidelines.

Who we’re looking for:

• A confident driver with a current open C class (automatic) licence and a clean driving record.
• Someone comfortable driving a van in both city and suburban environments.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe driving and consistent service.
• Respectful of boundaries, privacy and the mission of 4 Voices.
• A compassionate team member who wants to support women facing adversity.
