Student Placement Coordinator (NSW) - Join to support our placement students

4 Voices is a charity supporting women facing domestic violence, homelessness, isolation, and hardship. We connect women to safety, support, and a path forward; on the street, over the phone, or online. Our volunteers provide real help, hope, and dignity while restoring connection and empowering change.

As a student placement coordinator, your role will be to support the volunteers undertaking their placements at 4 Voices in your region, facilitate their placements with the operations team, and liaise with universities, training institutes/tertiary education institutions to ensure students meet the requirements of their placements.

What you will do:

  • Holding interviews with prospective student placement volunteers and approving/rejecting candidates for placement
  • Facilitating students' onboarding and offboarding at 4 Voices
  • Liaising with the Student Program Lead / Placement Coordinators regarding assessment requirements for students

Who we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills to connect with students, universities, and team members
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with education providers
  • Strong organisational skills to manage student placements and processes
  • Confidence in mentoring and supporting students throughout their journey
  • Problem-solving skills to handle challenges with professionalism
  • A collaborative approach to working with the operations team and coordinators
