Key Responsibilities

Ensure athletes are at the correct event area on time.

Assist with lining up athletes and directing them to their starting positions.

Check athlete names/numbers against start lists or event sheets.

Provide clear instructions to athletes about where to go and what to do.

Maintain a safe competition environment by keeping the event area clear of unnecessary people or equipment.

Support officials in managing the flow of events and athlete rotations.

Encourage and support athletes, promoting positive sportsmanship.

Report any safety issues, injuries, or incidents to the committee.
