Volunteer Business Development Support

EPIC - Empowering People In Construction

EPIC – Empowering People in Construction is a certified social enterprise working to create psychologically safe, inclusive workplaces across the construction industry. Through coaching, mentoring, training and AI-driven learning, we support underrepresented voices and challenge the status quo in one of Australia’s toughest industries - construction.

We’re currently expanding our industry partnerships and need help to connect with the right people. We're seeking a Volunteer Business Development Support person to help us research and identify decision-makers across a list of 1,000 companies.

🔹 Key Duties:

Research company websites and LinkedIn to identify key contacts (e.g., CEOs, HR leads, D&I managers)

Record names, titles, and public contact details in a shared spreadsheet or system

Flag high-potential organisations for follow-up

Provide regular updates and check in with the EPIC team for support

🔹 Skills and Experience:

Comfortable navigating websites and LinkedIn

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Basic data entry or spreadsheet skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Interest in business development, partnerships, or social impact

🔹 Training Provided:

Induction into EPIC’s work, goals and target sectors

Clear step-by-step guide for research and data entry

Support via email or Zoom check-ins

You’ll help EPIC connect with leaders who are in a position to drive real change in their organisations. Your research will directly feed into conversations that influence workplace culture and inclusivity in the construction industry.
