Grant Writing Practitioner

www.4voices.org.au

Are you a strong writer with a passion for purpose-driven work? Join 4 Voices as a volunteer Grant Writing Practitioner and help us secure essential funding that empowers women and people experiencing social isolation. This is your chance to make a real difference by using your skills to support a cause that matters.

As a Grant Writing Practitioner, you will play a key role in identifying suitable funding opportunities and crafting compelling grant applications. You will be responsible for writing, submitting, and managing applications, as well as providing funders with all necessary supporting documents. When grants are successful, you will also help complete acquittals and ensure all obligations are met. You will work closely with our Head of Fundraising, CEO, and a small team of fellow grant writers to ensure every submission is timely, accurate, and aligned with our fundraising goals.

We are looking for someone who has strong written communication skills and can write clearly, persuasively, and professionally. Attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to research and evaluate relevant grant opportunities. You should be organised and capable of managing deadlines, tracking submissions, and staying on top of follow-ups. Basic computer proficiency is important, including confidence using email, Word or Google Docs, Microsoft Teams, and online grant portals.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about our mission and who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. If you enjoy writing, thrive on structure, and want to use your skills for good, we would love to hear from you.
