Bush Regeneration Worker (3563)

Support the restoration of native bushland at our Centre, which is set in a beautiful natural site of international significance. Tasks include weeding, planting, mulching, and habitat restoration. Work alongside a friendly team to improve biodiversity and protect this vital Ramsar-listed wetland. No experience is needed.
Volunteering in bush regeneration at our Centre offers the chance to connect with nature, stay active, and learn valuable skills in native plant care and habitat restoration. You'll meet like-minded people, contribute to meaningful conservation work, and be part of a supportive volunteer community—all while making a real impact on local biodiversity. Flexible hours mean you can volunteer at a pace that suits you.
Volunteers receive training in bush regeneration techniques, including native and invasive plant identification, safe weeding methods, planting and mulching practices, and basic tool use and maintenance. An introduction to the importance of wetland ecosystems and the role of bush regeneration is also provided. Ongoing, on-the-job support is available from experienced staff and volunteer coordinators to ensure volunteers feel confident and supported in their role.
