Committee Secretary
Are you looking for a way to make a positive difference to our local environment and farming communities?
Tweed Landcare Inc. is looking for a new secretary to join their lovely committee and help support an organised Committee. This presents a unique opportunity for someone passionate about the environment and community development to contribute to environmental stewardship in the Tweed.
The main duties would include attending monthly Committee meetings, compiling meeting agendas and minutes, collecting mail and supporting effective communication. Helping represent Tweed Landcare at events like the Murwillumbah Show, World Environment Day, Landcare workshops and other events is also much appreciated. The role would require approximately 5-10 hours of your time per month.
Our ideal candidate would bring skills or experience with community groups, business, education, management, public engagement and general desire to do good. A person with passion for the environment and community development, integrity and ethical standards, organisational and computer skills, strategic thinking, and good communication skills would be an asset!

We have been successfully helping people work together for the Tweed environment for 23 years.
