Who are we? Mind for Life is a not-for-profit charity established in 2015, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of communities through accessible lifestyle resources. Our mission is to inspire positive mindset changes for life. We focus on addressing mental and physical health issues such as depression, anxiety, and obesity, particularly those linked to unhealthy dietary and lifestyle choices. Our new project, Working with Love, is focused on providing vital educational support to underprivileged children in low-income communities in Bogota, Colombia, who are not receiving government assistance due to the country’s economic pressures.

Position Overview: Mind for Life is seeking a Spanish-Speaking Administrative Assistant to support our Working with Love project, which aims to make a lasting difference in the lives of children who face educational barriers. As an Administrative Assistant, you will help ensure smooth operations and support the coordination of key activities for this impactful initiative.

Key Responsibilities: • Translate Spanish to English for various tasks and communications within the organization. • Organize and manage meetings, ensuring all logistics are handled. • Write meeting agendas and take detailed meeting minutes. • Manage and maintain project databases and produce reports as needed. • Serve as the first point of contact for the Admin department, responding to inquiries. • Monitor and manage the Admin department’s mailbox, ensuring timely responses.

Requirements: • Spanish fluency (both written and spoken) is essential. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Previous administrative experience is a plus but not mandatory. • Passion for community service and education.
