Social Media Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility 1: Content Creation Design and develop weekly social media posts, focusing on promoting upcoming events and sharing informative environmental tips.
Responsibility 2: Social Media Management Maintain and grow a consistent and cohesive presence across Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook) to strengthen community engagement and awareness.
Responsibility 3: Committee Contribution Attend Group Committee Meetings to stay informed about organizational goals and align social media efforts with key initiatives and priorities.
** Tasks**
Task 1:Create social media posts Frequency: Weekly Description: Design and schedule visually engaging social media posts using Canva, ensuring consistency with Transition Bondi’s branding and messaging. Content primarily includes event promotions and environmental tips to educate and engage the community.
Task 2: Collaborate with Events Volunteers Frequency: As required Description: Work closely with event volunteers to gather key details, photos, and insights to create promotional posts. Ensure accurate and timely communication of event information to maximise participation and engagement.
Task 3: Research Frequency: Weekly Description: Conduct research to curate informative and relevant content, particularly for environmental tips. Stay updated on current environmental debates, trends, and sustainability initiatives that can be leveraged to enhance community awareness and engagement.
