Manage a small team to help CANsign dispatch its merchandise. This involves sometimes, doing actual dispatch work (packing goods into parcels, labelling and posting them) or managing a small team to do so.

CANsign has dispatched over 400,000 items in the last few years. In 2022 the Climate Action Now signs were seen across the country and impacted the Federal election.

In the last 2 months CANsign has packed over 500 parcels containing over 7000 merchandise items (signs, banners, posters, t-shirts etc).

These items can have profound impacts on an election or a specific campaign.

Its is estimated that the climate and environment movement has between 1.5 and 2 million supporters across the country. Why this many? Because there are 976 local Climate and Environment collectives in Australia (as per the independent surveyed list on the movement monitor). The larger of the member groups, which constitute about half these local collectives, such as ACF, WWF, Greenpeace, Getup etc have one million supporters on their books between them. The other 400 or so groups are medium and small organisations and in aggregate their membership, which is less clear, but is estimated to be between 500,000 and one million.

Of the 976, 200 of the prominent and most active groups are members of the Climate Action Network of Australia and devote time and effort to work in harmony together to bring about great ideas for the Government to consider and implement.

CANsign is one of these 200 member groups and dispatches campaign materials as a NFP organisation for around 40 of these member groups.
