Your passion for and interest in the care and welfare of our native fauna, particularly reptiles, are a must for this role. Assist in caring for our native wildlife display creatures, helping to feed, clean and maintain their environment. Opportunity to assist with reptile encounters if you’re interested. Animal Carers are needed for approximately 3 to 4 hours a week on Wednesday or Sunday mornings.

Set in a beautiful natural wetlands site of international significance, you'll have the chance to connect with nature whilst contributing to a valuable Hunter community asset. Join our enthusiastic team of volunteers, who share a common love of our native environments.

Initial & ongoing training will be provided in reptile handling, general animal welfare/care & Workplace Health & Safety. Our aim is to ensure all volunteers gain valuable experience for their time with us.
