🌊 Join Us in Making Waves! Become Our Volunteer Maintenance Coordinator! 🌊

WHAT:

Do you love sailing and want to make a difference? We’re looking for a Volunteer Maintenance Coordinator to help with small maintenance jobs on our program yachts. Flexibility is key—do these checks on any day that suits your schedule. With our boats sailing twice daily during school terms, there’s always a convenient time.

This crucial role keeps our yachts in peak condition, providing that extra set of eyes and hands when staff are busy. You’ll report any issues to the Sailing Operations Manager in Sydney, who will guide you on the next steps.

WHY:

Join a beautiful culture where we share knowledge and joy with young people with disabilities or disadvantages. Volunteers receive a uniform and can learn new skills through our training program.

WHO:

The Making Waves Foundation is an Australian registered not-for-profit organization providing unique on-water experiences for young people with disabilities or disadvantages. We build confidence, encourage teamwork, and challenge limitations. Our passionate volunteers support and encourage participants to realize their potential. We also offer programs for caregivers, fostering connection and community.

Transform lives with us—helping participants develop new skills, friendships, confidence, and self-esteem.

Note: As a child-safe organisation, we require all volunteers, staff, and contractors to hold a valid Working With Children Check at all times
