Program Content Developer – Grief & Bereavement Focus

The Flannel Project

About The Flannel Project: The Flannel Project is a postvention nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of veteran suicide. We strive to create compassionate resources that help people through their journey of grief and healing. By joining our team, you’ll be part of a movement to make a real impact on the lives of those left behind, creating hope and connection in their darkest moments.

Role Overview: We’re seeking a Program Content Developer to transform an existing support program into a 28-day guide focused on surviving bereavement and dealing with grief. Using ChatGPT to adapt and refine content, you will build an engaging, day-by-day structure that provides practical tools, reflections, and compassionate support for those navigating grief.

Key Duties:

Review and familiarize yourself with the existing program content. Use ChatGPT to adapt this content, with a specific focus on coping with grief and supporting bereavement. Develop daily modules, including exercises, journaling prompts, and reflective activities that guide participants through a 28-day journey. Ensure all content is empathetic, insightful, and accessible for people in different stages of grief. Skills and Experience Needed:

Experience in content development, ideally in the areas of mental health, bereavement, or therapeutic support. Proficiency with ChatGPT or other AI tools for content adaptation and creation. A deep understanding of grief and bereavement, with a sensitive and compassionate approach. Strong writing and communication skills, with an ability to create clear, empathetic content. Benefits of Volunteering with The Flannel Project:

Make a lasting impact by helping survivors of veteran suicide find healing and support. Gain valuable experience in mental health content development and the innovative use of AI tools. Join a compassionate, mission-driven team dedicated to creating real change in the lives of those affected by loss. Flexibility to work remotely, with support from our team to guide you through each step. Impact of this Opportunity: Your work will help create a structured, accessible program that supports people through one of the hardest experiences of their lives. By developing resources for grief and healing, you’ll be directly helping survivors find strength, resilience, and community in their time of need.

How to Apply: If you’re interested, please submit your resume and a brief description of your experience with content adaptation and working with grief or bereavement topics. We look forward to welcoming a compassionate, skilled volunteer to our team!
