Join The Flannel Project as our Social Media and Marketing Coordinator and help amplify our mission to support survivors of veteran suicide. This volunteer role is a unique opportunity to use your creativity and marketing expertise for a cause that truly matters. Together, we’ll raise awareness, foster community connection, and bring hope to those who need it most. Key Duties:

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase awareness of The Flannel Project's mission. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Interact with followers, respond to comments, and foster a supportive online community. Collaborate with the team on campaigns, including fundraisers and events, to amplify their reach. Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategies based on performance metrics. Skills and Experience Needed:

Experience with social media management and marketing, including content creation and scheduling. Strong communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling posts and interact with a diverse audience. Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics) to measure performance. Basic graphic design skills or experience with tools like Canva are a plus. A passion for mental health advocacy and supporting veterans or bereaved individuals. Organisational Background: The Flannel Project is a postvention charity dedicated to supporting survivors of veteran suicide. Founded in honor of Shannen, a veteran who tragically took her own life, our mission is to provide practical support, foster healthy grieving, and empower individuals through purpose-driven healing. We are a small, dedicated team with a big vision to make a difference for those affected by veteran suicide.
