The primary role of a volunteer coordinator is to determine the date and topic/focus for 4 meetings per year, and to help facilitate the meetings. Meetings provide an opportunity for free professional development and can take any form that the network finds useful, such as guest speakers, service presentations, case discussion, peer support, site visits to services, journal article discussion, and webinar screenings. MHPN supports coordinators with:

• Release of certificates of attendance for professional development;
• Financial support.
