Volunteer Contact Practitioner - Gold Coast

4 Voices Volunteer Contact Practitioner's role is to support a standard of acceptable behaviors within our volunteering team; Assisting volunteers who may have a perceived issue related to unlawful discrimination or bullying. Including supporting volunteers to deal with their emotional responses to issues they are exposed to in their roles as volunteers. Providing volunteers with 4 Voices support options and processes (ie Volunteer Assistance Program). Promotion of the 4 Voices Equal Opportunity and anti-bullying policies and processes.

Through

  • Connecting and supporting team members who have raised issues/concerns.
  • Conducting effective meetings with those requiring more information or support.
  • Keeping accurate and brief records.
  • Following up with volunteers on issues as they occur.
  • Providing feedback and recommendations to the board and leadership team within 4 Voices on issues.

You will need - Interpersonal skills (love supporting and working with people) Good verbal and written communication. Attention to detail and ability to maintain records. Ability to implement and comply with an effective follow up process including using technology.
