We are seeking a volunteer photographer to support Fitzroy Lions Soccer Club – ensuring kids living in public housing in Melbourne's inner north have opportunities to play sport, and uniting families of all backgrounds through the 'world game'.

We are about more than just football – our ethos is to bring the community together and show that our diversity is our strength.

One of our core missions is to remove any barriers to accessing organised sport. That's why Fitzroy Lions is completely free to play – the only registered soccer club in Victoria to offer this. No club fees, no registration fees, and all kit is provided free of charge.

Alongside our junior teams, we also run community outreach and after-school programs. 

The role:

We are seeking a volunteer photographer to help promote the club online and create content to share with our community and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Capturing the club's activities, shooting stills featuring our players, families and volunteers, particularly around training, game days and community events
• Building a narrative around the club's work and illustrating our impact, to assist with grant reporting
