Inclusion Melbourne Inclusion Melbourne is an auspice for the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme; a national program funded by the Australian Government.

We believe everyone within our community should be able to live in an inclusive community, supported by people who genuinely care for them, and have equal opportunity to participate in community life.

About the Inclusion Melbourne Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme You’ll spend time with someone in your local community who may be lonely or socially isolated. We're looking for caring individuals who can sit and have a chat, reminisce and talk about topics of interest with elderly people in their own homes. Our clients enjoy the company of caring, reliable and empathetic volunteers with good communication skills and an ability to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits.

Your impact: Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits on a fortnightly basis for a minimum of 12 months are required. Visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy and happiness to the recipient you are matched with.

Come and join us! For more information about volunteering as an Aged Care Volunteer Visitor, click the apply button below and a friendly Volunteer Coordinator will call you.
