About Us

Goonawarra Neighbourhood House is a not-for-profit organisation which offers a range of programs supporting the needs of our community. We seek to be inclusive and supportive of people from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. We believe every individual has inherent worth, knowledge and skills.

Volunteers are vitally important to the successful running of the Goonawarra Neighbourhood House programs. We value the contributions of our volunteers and aim to provide meaningful opportunities for our volunteers to share their unique skills and interests.

List of Tasks - Marketing & Promotions

• Extend our reach to new residents
• Distribute and display promotional material to designated locations
• Capture photos and videos of House programs and activities
• Create visually appealing content to post through online marketing channels (e.g. social media and House newsletter)
• Regularly manage email software, Campaign Monitor  
• Regularly manage social media platforms through the Meta Business Suite

Desirable (but not required) Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working in marketing and promotion for non-profits or community groups
• Experience using social media, such as the Meta Business Suite   
• Experience using Email marketing platforms, such as Campaign Monitor
