#About the role

We are seeking a Volunteer Facilitator to join our Interests2Enjoy program and lead our weekly 2 hour Trivia Club on a Thursdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering fun and laughter for isolated and lonely older Australians. Warning, you may bring out everyone's competitive side.

Duties include:

• Sharing your passion for all things Trivia.
• Encouraging Participants to join-in.
• Ensuring everyone is included and feels welcomed.
• Following lesson plans/information provided.
• Greeting Participants as they arrive for the session.
• Using Kahoot to generate Trivia questions.
• Completing basic administration (less than 15 mins per week), such as logging shifts in Polixen App and completing Monthly Support Review forms, so we can support you.
• Responding to emails in a timely manner.
• Working in a safe manner and abiding by Inclusee's policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Having fun!

Our preferred volunteer would be outgoing and confident interacting with small groups of participants and exhibhit compassion, patience and have excellent communication skills.

As this is a virtual volunteer role, applicants will need their own computer/laptop, internet, anti-virus and a safe space to volunteer.

A team member will be with you for the entire shift, until you feel comfortable. Once confident in the role, a staff member will join at the start and end of each shift.
