Help young people attain their provisional licence by providing safe and supportive driving instruction. Educate learners on vehicle controls, road rules, defensive driving techniques, and manoeuvres to pass driving tests. The role involves tailoring lessons to suit each student’s abilities, instilling safe driving habits, emphasising the importance of defensive driving, hazard perception, & accident prevention, providing feedback and maintaining records of progress, lessons and logbook hours.

You will be supporting young people who do not have positive peer/family members in their life who can provide adequate driver training. You will be assisting the young people to build their confidence, independence and self-worth by developing this necessary life skill. The main goal is to provide this training to young people so that they can attain their provisional licence. This in turn will open up independent pathways for them to travel to employment, education and/or training.

Automatic vehicle will be provided. Site induction. Training Session – Trauma Informed Care; Policies & Procedures; WH&S and Working with Young People.
