Training

Teacher training equivalent to approximately 2.5 days will be provided either online or face-to-face. Ongoing training and support is provided.

Time required

Hours are approximately 1 hour per week (including preparation) during school terms. Classes are run during school hours. Ethics lessons take place between 2:00pm and 3:00pm on Wednesdays at Grays Point Public School.

Reimbursement

No reimbursement. Primary Ethics is a not-for-profit organisation. We do not receive government funding.

Requirements

National Police Certificate
Working with Children Check

Volunteers wishing to teach ethics will need spoken English proficiency equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 7 or above to teach and interact effectively and confidently. Please note wheelchair access can vary at schools - please check with school.
