Easy Care Gardening is a not-for-profit organisation. We are funded by the Federal Government to provide an aged care service. We look after the gardens of people who are older across 4 local government areas in the northern part of greater Sydney.

While we have some paid staff, most of our gardening is delivered by our wonderful volunteers.

Our aim is to make the clients gardens low maintenance. One of the main ways we do this is by using mulch to limit the growth of weeds.

We are looking to reinvigorate our Mulch Team with new members. Your job would involve loading and delivering mulch to the gardens of our clients. You would work in a team. If you have a driver's license and are skilled at reversing a trailer this would be a bonus! Not essential.

Volunteering with Easy Care Gardening is an enjoyable and worthwhile thing to do.

• You will work in a friendly team, and we have various social events throughout the year.

• We provide all the tools and training.

• We make all the arrangements with the clients. All you have to do is turn up at our office at Pymble, load up the truck and trailer, and start the run.

• The mulch run happens every Tuesday. Starts at 8:30 and finishes around 2:00pm, depending on how many deliveries are booked in.

All of our staff and volunteers are required to have a clear police check. We can arrange this for you at our expense. There are a few other forms to fill out, and we can help you with that too. We can meet in person, or the signup process can be completed online.
