Shane is in his late thirties and describes himself as polite and easy going.

His interests include sport especially tennis, spending time with family and friends and enjoys keeping up to date with current affairs.

Ideally Shane would love to have a friend who is available to go on outings on a fortnightly basis, usually on weekends but this can be flexible.

No previous experience is required. Competencies include a warm, friendly and patient approach as well as empathy, good communication skills and a great sense of humour.

Reliability and a willingness to commit to very regular contact for a minimum of 12 months is a requirement.

Mandatory Group Induction Training at Inclusion Melbourne office in Armadale Vic plus online National Disability Insurance Scheme training.

Reimbursement to be negotiated on a case by case basis.

Fortnightly outings for 2-3 hours on weekends as arranged by mutual agreement between volunteer and buddy.
