This is a volunteer role for someone with experience in NFP / Charity revenue growth and fundraising strategies. The role is appointed to work with the BSRV Board, including our long-standing President, Maurice Gleeson OAM. The objective of the role is to provide long term, strategic advice and direction that ensures BSRV embeds a framework and process to boost recurrent funding sources, as well as plan to fundraise for 50th Anniversary celebrations in 2027. This includes identifying target segments and ways of approaching those segments.

The role is for a person experienced in NFP / Charity fundraising who is interested in providing pro-bono, strategic assistance to a small but thriving organisation, which is playing a key role in supporting the health, social connections and mental well-being of a growing number of people with vision impairments living in Victoria.

BSRV is a small but thriving non-profit organisation, which is dedicated to improving the lives of people who are blind or vision impaired through sport and recreation. As a community-based, not-for-profit organisation with no religious affiliations, our programs are for all members of the Victorian community - regardless of religion, age, gender, cultural background or economic circumstances. Our diverse and extensive sport and recreation programs are funded by a range of supporters and partners; helping to promote fitness, well-being, social connection and community involvement.
