Qualifications: Studying or completed dog training courses equivalent to Certificate III in dog training or student Certificate IV companion animal services or equivalent. Must be a force free trainer Be able to read dog body language in context of setting. Must be able, comfortable and compassionate to work with people with disabilities. Frequency – During the training period the frequency will be once a week for two weeks. Then once a month or fortnightly (your choice).

What to expect: During the assessment you will be given a phone to record the assessment. We record assessments with multiple choice questions, photo and a single one minute video. The multiple-choice question will be something like: Does the dog walk beside the handler on a loose lead? 1. The dog does not pull-on lead 2. Dog pulls on lead then stops 3. Dog is non stop pulling on lead. We designed the assessment forums to be easy to use, read and follow. We will also supply you with the proper documents and training to understand the role.
