Helping clients by picking them up from their home and taking them to their medical appointments. This is a Free service and helps those in the community most in need to get to their medical appointments, therefore helping enhance their quality of life, autonomy, and overall independence. It’s a simple and effective transport & care model that address three key needs:

1. For our clients it provides, not just free and flexible transport in the metropolitan area, but critical social connections in the community.
2. For our volunteer drivers, the bonds they form with clients, often making them feel like an extension of the family, give them a deep sense of purpose.
3. For that often forgotten section of society – the Carers – the service provides much-needed respite.

Benefits: Many of our Drivers are retired or semi retired people who are looking for ways to be involved in the community through helping others. It is a great way to keep connected which leads to a having a good sense of wellbeing, having community connection and engagement with others is important. The bond Volunteers form with clients, often making them feel like an extension of the family, give them a sense of purpose. As volunteer drivers the Foundation provides a Car, Fuel, Navigating tools and Mobile phone.
