Chat and Cuppa with Glenda - Mentone
Inclusion MelbourneThe Community Visitors Scheme is a federal initiative aimed to improve the lives of older people by strengthening their connection with their local community.
Volunteering as a community visitor is a very rewarding experience. By becoming friends with an older person, you can make a huge difference to their lives as well as your own.
Visits can include anything from sharing a cup of tea, listening to music, participating in activities, or simply just having a chat
We currently have a lovely recipient called Glenda who is a friendly and caring person. Glenda has many interests including an enjoyment of talking about her life and having a coffee in a local café with her Community Visitor.
Glenda would enjoy the company of a warm, caring, reliable and empathetic volunteer with good communication skills and an ability to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits.
