We are looking for a community-minded person to help us lead and organise our maintenance and transport program. Working with and supervising other volunteers to get donated goods to and from our various sites whilst supporting maintenance of our grounds and gardens around the Geelong region. The role supports us to provide better services for people as we work together to inspire people, enliven communities, and confront injustice.

This role would be ideal for a retired tradesperson looking to give back to the community and support people experiencing difficulties.

In this leadership role you will support and lead a team of maintenance and transport volunteers to coordinate and schedule pickup and delivery of donated goods along with grounds, garden, and general maintenance support. Some lifting maybe involved.

We offer opportunities in skill and knowledge development, as well as ongoing support and mentoring. As a Uniting volunteer you’ll be able to access our online learning library with over 200 courses on offer.

Good communications and organisational skills will be critical to success in this role.
