The Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre (ASWC) works with the most vulnerable asylum seekers living lawfully in the community while they await the outcome of their claims for protection. The ASWC provides community meals, foodbank, English classes, a gardening program, computer classes, music group, employment services, and brief interventions in addition to a host of seasonal programs.
