Ronald McDonald House-Providing a warm welcome to families and guests as they arrive at Ronald McDonald House -Support employees in responding to family enquiries -Engage with families, employees, volunteers and all other key stakeholders in a positive manner
-General house maintenance including: -Check dishwasher – stack, un-stack and put away dishes as required -Empty garbage bins, food waste and recycling waste into skip bins, replace bin liners -Clean fridges, inside and out, discard expired food items -Wipe all surfaces with disinfectant -Clean toaster, sandwich maker and other small appliances -Maintain a clean oven and stove top -Check house pantry stores and restock from store room as required – notify RMHC Staff if goods are required to be ordered -Replenish tea, coffee and sugar supplies -Refill salt and pepper shakers -Check unoccupied room’s pantry storage -Replenish bread from freezer -Assist the Housekeeper as required -Assist the Family & Volunteer Coordinator as requested -Maintain the play area – pickup and place toys in designated area, general cleaning of toys, ensure area is attractive for families and children to use -Clean windows and glass doors -Maintain the parents retreat and family lounge area – vacuum carpet and general tidy -Maintain the laundry – washers and dryers to be wiped over and lint filers to be cleared -Prepare for the Family Dinner Program (Tuesday & Thursday) -- -Any other task which has been deemed appropriate by Family & Volunteer Coordinator and Operations Manager
