Lawn Mowing & Light Gardening SupPAWt
The Guide Dogs CentreIt’s no walk in the park teaching puppies to become Guide Dogs. It requires boundless energy, care and experience; not to mention a lot of space!
That’s where the Guide Dogs Centre comes in. The Centre is located on 26 acres at Glossodia, near Windsor in Sydney’s north-west and features 3 kennel blocks with all the creature comforts, an on-site veterinary clinic, 1.4km of walking tracks and a range of recreational areas where the dogs can play and relax after a hard day's training.
With all of the rain and warm temperatures we have been experiencing the grass at the Centre has gone barking mad and our Grounds & Maintenance team is chasing its tail just trying to keep up, so they've asked for some supPAWt! This PAWsome role involves:
- Mowing
- Whipper-snipping
- Blower vacuuming
- Light garden maintenance.
The successful candidate will volunteer every Monday or Tuesday during the growing season between 7am and midday for 3-5 hours.
All equipment and training will be provided, and there may even be some doggy-devotion and puppy-love to be had!
