We are looking for kind, committed and positive people to join our team of 1:1 social support volunteers. This program is designed to support older people to reengage and reconnect with their community and to the things they love to do.

Kath* has been described as an outgoing, friendly and chatty person. She enjoys word search, attending church services, playing cards, reading, dancing and watching Bold and the Beautiful on TV. She'd prefer a mature female volunteer to help her get the most out of her iPad, take a walk and have a chat. Kath is available any weekday morning.

The successful volunteer will have good English and communication skills, be able to work independently and have access to a car for community outings.

As a valued member of social support team you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, meet new people and develop new skills. You will have support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator throughout your volunteer journey. You will be volunteering to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice to make an impact in your community.
