We are looking for volunteers to join our friendly and welcoming online op shop team in Northcote and assist us in managing our online store that has been at the forefront of online op shopping since 2019.

On shmonlineopshop.org, we list high-end and designer pieces, collectibles, and antiques which we send to customers across Australia.

Every item we sell through our online op shop raises much needed funds for our multiple programs and services supporting people to exit homelessness and build the life they want to live.

Volunteering at our online store team is not only a great way to make an impact in your community; it is also a unique opportunity for you if you are studying fashion and design or if you are generally interested in working in the retail sector and want to learn from the ground up how an e-commerce platform operates.

Responsibilities:

• Sewing, mending and steaming garments,
• Working with fashion photography,
• Working with high-end designer fashion,
• Assisting with postage and online orders,
• Research the history of designer clothing, collectibles and one-off pieces.
