Sacred Heart Mission provides services and support to members of our community experiencing disadvantage and social exclusion. We operate every day of the year and require the assistance of dedicated volunteers who provide much-needed support to our programs. Volunteering provides many personal benefits and allows Sacred Heart Mission to establish and maintain community links and relationships. Volunteers are a welcome addition to our close knit team. We have an array of opportunities for volunteering work in Melbourne throughout the week. The majority of volunteer shifts are during the day. We often look to our ‘volunteer army’ for assistance during holiday periods and weekends, especially in our op shops. Voluntary work is a rewarding activity where you can connect with like-minded people, develop your skills and help to improve the quality of life for all involved. We are committed to ensuring that volunteers across our programs are encouraged, supported, trained and well informed for mutual benefit.
