Volunteer Branch Assistant

Duties:
- Assist the BC in daily set up of kitchen prior to opening
- Assist with monitoring, recording and completing all required food safety paperwork to ensure adherence to Food Safety Standards
- Assist BC to oversee the plating and labelling of all meals ensuring food safety procedures are adhered to and distributed correctly to each run
- Assist with branch cleaning as per requirements
- Assist with ordering stock inventory (dry goods & meals) and undertake regular stocktakes
- Assist BC to coordinate the weekly packing of frozen meal orders
- Provide administrative assistance to the BC, through assisting with but not limited to: food labels, run sheets, packing lists, menu forms/public holiday orders
- Assist with the distribution of meal feedback forms
- Assist BC with money collection and counting
What you will bring: Volunteer Branch Assistant does not need any specific training or previous experience, but does need:
- To be enthusiastic and committed to the aims and objectives of NMoW and the daily operations of Mayfield branch
- To be able to encourage others, sharing your enthusiasm and supporting a team to effectively and efficiently operate with time management, and problem solving skills
- To be able to communicate well
- To be reliable, organised and committed
