During these challenging times we need volunteers more than ever to support isolated people in our community to feel socially connected again. If you’re a ‘people person’ and would like to make a difference to someone’s life, we would love to hear from you!

Jenny is a friendly person. She is down to earth, and grows in confidence as she gets to know you. Jenny's interests and hobbies include crafts and watching her beloved Carlton Blues! She is a member of the Uniting Church and cares for her community.

The volunteer must love dogs, and be available for a coffee or lunch once a fortnight. Jenny* would prefer visits to take place on Monday or Friday.

Provide companionship and support Jenny* to achieve her social goals. Valid driver’s license necessary. Practical communication skills and ability and confidence to work independently are a must. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development provided.

Participant's name has been altered to maintain her privacy. Interested? For further information, please Call 13 93 75 and quote TH-W-03. Please note that during COVID-19 this role may commence over the phone, which will enable you to establish rapport and connection with Jenny* and enable her to stay connected to the community.
