Motivated and enthusiastic volunteer required to support in the transportation of participants residing in the Monash area to St Mark's, a centre based social activity group in Chadstone. St Mark's offers participants the opportunity to engage in social activities including craft, light exercise and excursions. The volunteer is required on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-4.30pm.

The role involves driving a 12-seater bus to transport clients from home to the centre at the start of the day and home again at day's end, as well as supporting client outings. The selected applicant must work flexibly to undertake tasks associated with the day-to- day operation of the centre. These tasks may include the facilitation and support of social activities as well as providing assistance in the kitchen to prepare meals for participants.

An outgoing person with a ‘can do’ attitude is required, along with a current Victorian drivers license. Help create a positive interaction with participants attending the group! You will need to demonstrate the skills and confidence to work independently. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development provided.
