Bus Driver - Social Support - Ivanhoe
Uniting Victoria And TasmaniaMotivated and enthusiastic volunteers required to transport participants residing in the Banyule area to 'Linlithgow', a centre-based social activity group in Ivanhoe. Linlithgow operates Tuesday - Friday 9am-3pm. The role involves driving a 12-seater bus to transport participants from their home to the Centre at the start of the day and home again at day's end. Flexible shift arrangements available.
The successful applicants must have a current drivers license. Effective communication skills and an ability to create a positive interaction with participants attending the group are essential. You will need to demonstrate the skills and confidence to work independently. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development will be provided.
