The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria.

Blind Sports & Recreation Victoria, on behalf of VIBBA is currently seeking volunteers in the Kooyong area to assist in setting up the room for Indoor Bowls and to be a sighted guide for Bowlers who are blind or vision impaired. Indoor bowls is held on the first and third Friday of each month from 10am - 2pm.

Where: Vision Australia, 44 Glenferrie Road, Kooyong Nearest train station is Kooyong (1 minute to venue)

Key Tasks

• Help set up indoor bowls equipment and repack after the game
• Be a sighted guide for Bowlers who are blind or vision impaired

Key Skills

• Enjoy meeting and helping people who are blind or vision impaired
• Light active duties with Bowls equipment is required
