FOSTERCARE FC unites the Australian football community to support children in fostercare, ensuring every child has the chance to experience the joy of playing local sport and being part of a their local football club. Through this initiative, local clubs sign up to become one of our partner club who are willing to offer extra support to foster families, making football more accessible for the 40,000 children in fostercare across Australia. We invite football clubs across Australia to join the FOSTERCARE FC initiative. By welcoming a local foster care child into your club, you're giving them the chance to play football, build confidence, make friends, and feel supported in your community. If you're a foster care family with a child who wants to play football, we’re here to help! Our participating clubs offer extra support, which may include organising mid-season sign-ups, reduced player fees, donated gear, and help with transport to games. By joining your local football club, your child will make new friends, enjoy playing, and gain confidence in the community.
