Cycling Without Age Australia - Gold Coast Chapter

We are a community initiative which offers free trishaw rides to seniors and people with disability. As part of the global Cycling Without Age movement, founded in Denmark in 2012, the initiative is designed to improve social inclusion, wellbeing and mobility for those who may face challenges in accessing outdoor activities. Trained volunteers operate trishaws, which are specially designed adaptive bicycles which can either carry wheelchairs or two passengers in the front. Embodying values like kindness, generosity and intergenerational relationships, it enhances the quality of life for passengers and enriches our volunteers experiences.
