Formed in 1946, Williamstown Little Theatre is one of the leading non-professional theatre companies in Melbourne. For more than 75 years we have presented quality, affordable theatre to the people of Williamstown and the wider community. It is our aim to continue to do so for many years to come! Since 1968 our home has been a converted bakery at 2-4 Albert Street, Williamstown, which we own outright. Our cosy auditorium holds 69 patrons and we have a licensed bar for our patrons’ enjoyment. Staffed entirely by volunteers, the theatre provides a variety of opportunities for creative engagement, ranging from acting and production design to backstage, front of house and administration. We have a large and loyal subscriber base, drawn mainly from Williamstown and surrounding areas. Ticket sales are available on-line, or via season subscriptions. Subscriptions are for 3, 4 or 5 productions in a year, providing a generously discounted rate. We also offer items from our extensive wardrobe and properties departments for hire.
