Amalgamated Prospectors and Leaseholders Assn of WA Inc.

We run a not-for-profit Association for Prospectors and Leaseholders our aim is “to protect the rights of Prospectors and Leaseholder's future.” We have 36 volunteers across 5 branches and require Committee members and sub-committee members to join our passionate team. Our AGM is held to elect nominated positions. Our head office is in Perth and we have branches in Perth, Mandurah, Kalgoorlie, Bunbury and Albany. Positions in APLA can be at Branch level or at Delegate State level. The Delegate position runs from home. ABOUT US For over 114 years Amalgamated Prospectors and Leaseholders Assn of WA Inc. have supported and protected prospecting across the outback of Western Australia and seen the impact of our stakeholder meetings with Western Australian Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) and other Government bodies and stakeholders -based approach. We keep our eyes on the horizon and focus firmly on the long-term, fighting for your right to prospect and to enjoy the bush. APLA provides advocacy and representation at the State Government level and with various Government Departments on issues that affect our sector. As a West Australian not-for-profit Association, we want to continue to expand the areas we protect and deepen the impact we have. We work in partnership with Prospectors and Leaseholders, and Industry groups. We specialize in helping Prospecting with event facilitating and coordinating AGMs, Open Days, Field Days, and Prospecting Bush Camps. This support is designed to contribute to the Association’s purpose, goals, and objectives.
