The Social Enterprise Engagement Volunteer will work collaboratively with the Social Enterprise Engagement Coordinator to provide support to people seeking asylum and refugees who are employed by ASRC’s Social Enterprises. You’ll be engaging directly with staff to develop pathways to meaningful employment as well as providing administration support to coordinate the delivery of training and skills development workshops focused on boosting employability and job readiness.

Generalist Clinic Paralegal Volunteers support the Human Rights Law Program (HRLP) by working on client files and performing administrative duties that facilitate the operation of the Footscray-based legal clinic. In return, we provide an energetic and engaging workplace with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Paralegals manage our legal reception and provide administrative assistance to our solicitors, ensuring we deliver the best service to our clients. Paralegal tasks include but are not limited to, staffing front reception, operating our phone system, liaising with clients in person or over the phone, document preparation and filing, coordinating email and post, and providing general support to the team.

The Response & Support Team (RST) Paralegal Support Volunteers work alongside our Senior Paralegal Staff to support the management of the Human Rights Law Program’s Legal front desk. Support Paralegals help ensure the front desk runs smoothly by booking client appointments, collecting legal documents, and supporting the overall management of our legal reception.
