NRCH has vacancies for Social Inclusion Volunteers to support people experiencing loneliness or isolation. You will be working with local community members who want to become more connected with the community and share time with others.
Come and join us to inspire young people to discover the joy of reading. NRCH is partnering with Richmond West Primary School to support their Literacy Program. NRCH is keen to recruit volunteers to support young people in the classroom to develop their literacy skills. You will have the guidance of classroom teachers to engage the students in activities designed to help them to experience the pleasure of reading and learning.
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Volunteer Tutors who are able to engage young people to assist them with their Homework (in particular, Maths/Science) at a secondary level and/or facilitate educational games with primary school aged children. The Homework Program runs on Tuesdays from 5.30pm - 6.30pm during school terms. A regular commitment of at least 2 terms (6 months) is required.

NRCH has a vacancy for a Volunteer Dog Walker in our Social Inclusion Program. The role will contribute to the well-being of both the owner and the dog. This role is so valuable for the owner to know their companion has exercise and mental stimulation. Importantly it also provides additional social interaction for the owner.
