The Guide team provides volunteer support to welcome and assist consumers, their families, and visitors to the hospital. The Guide Team plays an important part in helping people to navigate the hospital to find the right clinical or support service. This is a sought after volunteer position which will be filled fast. A valued member of the Volunteer Service; Stock Controllers have an extremely important role in supporting the Volunteer Gift Shop and Cafe volunteers at Flinders Medical Centre, by receipting and picking stock and delivering it in a timely manner.
The Volunteer Service for the Flinders Medical Centre operates a very popular BBQ services located at the Courtyard on Level 2 at Flinders Medical Centre. The volunteers need a fit able-bodied person that would be willing to assist them in the clean up at the end of the day. Shift requirement is Wednesday to Friday 1 pm - 3 pm. The Flinders Medical Centre Volunteer Service are seeking dedicated and reliable volunteers with a passion for helping people to assist in the GEM Ward at the Repat Health Precinct. The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the GEM Ward staff and provide emotional support and practical assistance for patients with dementia or delirium, or other older patients admitted to the Repat Health Precinct.

It also offers an option for customers to order over the phone or online. If you are friendly, proactive and like helping people whilst learning many different skills then this is the place for you.
