School Program Delivery Assistant

Narryna Heritage House

Narryna House is located at 103 Hampden Road in Battery Point and is open to the public Tuesday - Sunday 10-4:30 with an entry fee.
We require volunteers to assist with visiting school groups to Narryna Heritage Museum (and occasionally Markree House).
Narryna was 33 years after British settlement in 1836, and is pertinent to current requirements of the school curriculum, especially for younger children. It embraces the very early days of British colonisation including convict labour, through to the mid twentieth century. Working as a volunteer will mean you are part of a team and will resolve any issues such as rostering etc. with other volunteers as necessary. There are kitchen facilities with tea & coffee available. Information about TMAG and House Museum activities will be available, and as a volunteer you will be entitled to a 10% discount at the TMAG shop and at the Cafe.

Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the level of coverage for volunteers due to various restrictions to ensure they are covered for the roles they will be undertaking.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
