Help with the upkeep of our gardens, will include mowing the lawns, weeding, pruning etc.

Our members may also want to help out with these activities so the volunteer should feel comfortable in providing companionship and support to people with dementia that promotes their independence and enables their participation in social activities in the day centre and community.

We are looking for volunteers with good interpersonal and communication skills, enjoys participating in tasks and activities in a group or on a one to one basis. Interested in learning more about the impact of dementia and how to promote and support people living with dementia (training will also be provided).

Volunteers with Alzheimer's WA will require a police clearance, this will be processed by us on your behalf.
