Encounter Centre is a community based charity reliant on volunteers to help run a variety of activities, in particular programs to provide activities for those living with Disability.

Do you have great customer service skills and enjoy working in a busy office environment? Encounter Centre are looking for an experienced office clerk/receptionist to assist with general administration and reception duties.

Encounter Centre are very keen to hear from volunteers who possess the following skills and attributes;

  • A positive can do attitude
  • team player
  • excellent phone manner
  • high level attention to detail
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • neat and professional personal presentation
  • computer literate including a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Responsibilities of the role include but not limited to;

  • Answering and directing incoming calls
  • meeting and greeting visitors
  • data entry
  • sorting of daily mail
  • archiving and filing
  • general administrative duties
